Are you an experienced Commercial Account Manager with a passion for client relationships, insurance expertise, and a commitment to exceptional service? We are looking for a Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our client's Edmonton team. In this role, you’ll manage a diverse book of business, guiding clients through complex insurance solutions with precision and care.

Position Overview:


As a Senior Commercial Account Manager, you’ll manage a substantial book of business, including clients in construction, manufacturing, oil and gas and also includes cross-border accounts. Working in a hybrid model, you’ll join a welcoming and relaxed team that values flexibility and a client-first approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, maintaining and nurturing strong client relationships.
  • Identify exposures to loss and recommend suitable coverage solutions.
  • Oversee policy renewals, changes, and cancellations, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Partner closely with industry colleagues and the Account Assistants assigned to your book, who handle certifications and routine documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with our producer, a hands-on, client-focused leader with nearly 15 years in the industry.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 7-10 years in Commercial Insurance (Level 2 license required; CAIB, CIP, or similar designation preferred).
  • Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and solid knowledge of policy wordings and coverages.
  • Attributes: Highly client-focused, organized, and adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Attitude: Proactive and driven with a positive outlook on teamwork and client service.
