Commercial Account Manager 

Our client is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service while supporting the Commercial Insurance Account Executive. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of commercial clients, helping them navigate their insurance needs while managing important administrative tasks. Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Commercial Insurance Account Executive with daily tasks
  • Provide customers with prompt service, advice, and guidance on their insurance needs
  • Process incoming commercial insurance paperwork and ensure accuracy
  • Assist with quotes, review existing coverage, and update client files as needed
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete new client applications, and issue insurance certificates
  • Manage endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments
  • Negotiate with underwriters on clients' behalf and communicate with insurance companies on renewals and claims
  • Obtain and provide additional information requested by underwriters to complete applications

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an office environment
  • Experience in commercial insurance is an asset
  • Level 2 General Insurance License or willingness to obtain
  • Familiarity with Epic (an asset but not required)
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
