Description

Our client is looking for an experienced leader to join their Property Claims Field Team! The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in claims/insurance industry and prior experience in leadership is required.

Location: Vancouver, B.C. (Remote)

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Identify, assess and retain the best possible talent to strengthen the business
  • Lead effectively and positively through implementation of change
  • Fully understand and mitigate internal and external claims risks you are accountable for managing
  • Expert understanding of the claims experience while understanding the technical strategic direction for the claims file
  • Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, the claims handling processes and financial outcomes for business
  • Lead change initiatives for the team and business function

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of working in Claims/ insurance industry experience with strong knowledge of Property
  • Prior experience in leadership role is a must
  • CIP or FCIP designation is preferred
  • Team player with excellent communication and management skills
