Professional Insurance Advisor – Personal Lines Private Client
Hybrid – Toronto Office
Our client is a reputable insurance brokerage firm with the integrity and empathy that has enabled them to continually thrive in both personal and commercial lines business. They are seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor for their prestigious Private Clients.
As the primary liaison between clients and Insurance Company underwriters and billing departments, this expert will be responsible for elevating and delivering the standard professional service and communication related to products and services while efficiently handling and resolving client complaints to ensure a positive overall experience.
Key Accountabilities
This position reports to Personal Lines Supervisor/General Manager
- Managing incoming/outgoing calls for internal and external clients and shareholders.
- Managing incoming mail and couriers from clients, companies, mortgage holders and lawyers.
- Reviving orphan accounts and cross selling.
- Correcting endorsements and making changes to policies.
- Contacting clients on recommended re-market of renewals.
- Taking, reporting and follow up for claims.
- Performing outbound calls and full reviews annually with Private Clients/VIPs.
- Managing overall client insurance portfolios.
- Conducting portfolio transfers.
- Providing support for any other traditional requirements as allocated.
Key Qualifications/Attributes
- RIBO Licensed with 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry in a Broker environment.
- Experience managing high priority, high networth group of clients.
- Ability to manage a high volume and multiple tasks.
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture and retain trusted client relationships.
- Effective listening and negotiation skills.
- Highly detail oriented with attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player who is highly professional and self-aware.
- Experience using VIP markets and standard markets.
- Computer literate with ability to learn new systems quickly, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as EPIC and ARS.
